First Year of Bridge Disaster in Çaycum

6 people who died in the town of Zonguldak, Çaycuma, who died as a result of the collapse of the bridge on April 15 last year, were planted, while saplings were planted for those who died.
As a result of the collapse of the 252-meter section of the 48-meter-long Çaycuma Bridge at the entrance of the district on April 6, last year, the 4-person walking along the bridge and the 11-person minibus fell to the Filyos Stream below. While the father of the Mayor of Çaycuma, Mithat Gülşen, the body of 79 people including Kemal Gülşen, 10 years old, President Gülşen's nephew, university student Sezgin Gülşen (21), Female Saraç (49), retired miner Aziz Gülşen (57), Tahir. On the 1st anniversary of the disaster, Zonguldak Governorate held a memorial and planting ceremony for those who died on the edge of the Filyos Stream next to the bridge. The ceremony was attended by Zonguldak Governor Erol Ayyıldız, CHP Zonguldak Deputy Ali İhsan Köktürk, Zonguldak Mayor Muharrem Akdemir, Çaycuma District Governor Hasan Yaman, Çaycuma Mayor Mithat Gülşen, circle managers and relatives of some of the deceased, and many citizens attended. Following the reading of the Quran for those who died at the ceremony, planting seedlings took place in the 'Çaycuma Bridge Martyrs Memorial Forest' formed on the edge of the Filyos Stream. One seedling was planted for 15 people who died. The first sapling was planted together with the Governor Ayyıldız and the Deputy Ali İhsan Köktürk. The Mayor of Çaycuma, Mithat Gülşen, who could not keep his tears, planted the trees of his father Kemal Gülşen and his nephew Sezgin Gülşen in the disaster. Relatives of those who lost their lives in the disaster, who expressed that they were satisfied with the commemorative forest created, planted their seedlings. Relatives of the deceased could not hold their tears while planting the seedlings.
Çaycuma Mayor Mithat President Gülşen said, UM As of today, 6 April 2012 will be the leader of the bridge disaster 1. We have completed the anniversary. This pain doesn't come easily out of us. We know that the families of 5 and the people around him are in distress. Today we planted the 15 tree monument in their memory. It is an organization made by our governor. Let the spirits be again.
