Atılım University Organized Technical Trip to Civil Engineering High Speed Train Project
A group of 41 students and lecturers from Atılım University Civil Engineering Department organized a technical trip to the construction sites near Bozüyük, Bilecik and Mezitler, respectively, from Ankara on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 7:00. Within the scope of the high speed train project during the excursion, structures such as bridge, viaduct, road, NATM tunnel under construction, ground improvement, slope stability, etc. Application processes of such techniques have been seen. In the second part of the trip, different structures on the historical peninsula in Istanbul were visited.
