Teleski and chairlift excitement
Efforts for Sivas to contribute to winter tourism and turn the region into an attraction center continue at full speed.
In the project, which was approved before the Environmental Plan, Master Plan and Implementation Zoning Plan, the studies for the establishment of mechanical facilities started with the expropriation works.
With the construction of Yıldız Mountain Lift and Chairlift Facilities, which will be tendered by the Central District Union for Delivering Services to Villages on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 14:00, the long-awaited project will be launched.
The construction work, which is planned to be completed in 250 days, will include a mechanical facility consisting of 1000 chairlifts and 1200 teleski with a capacity of 2 and 1 people per hour, as well as an on-snow track preparation vehicle and a snow motor to be used on sliding surfaces.
If there is no adverse event in the project, where works are carried out within the daily facilities, the reels of the mechanical facilities will start to rotate in the first months of 2014.
Stating that they aim to bring Yıldız Mountain Ski and Winter Tourism Center to Sivas as soon as possible, General Secretary Salih Ayhan said, “Mechanical facilities project and application tender will be held together. We have no problem with paying. Currently, we allocate a serious resource in our Ministry of Youth and Sports. We have come a long way with the expropriation process. We agreed with our local citizens, paperwork continues. Our administration has a heavy business traffic. In the implementation of our projects, I would like to thank our deputies, especially our Minister İsmet Yılmaz, and our Honorable Governor who is a follower of our works ”. - SİVAS
