TCDD and its affiliates TÜDEMSAŞ, TÜLOMSAŞ and TÜVASAŞ's 2011 years were discussed at the TGNA KIT Sub-Commission. At the meeting held at 27 February 2013 in the TCDD Grand Meeting Hall, the Commission discussed the opinions and suggestions contained in the report prepared by the auditors of the Court of Accounts.
Chairman of the Commission, Mehmet Ali Okur, Deputy Chairman of the meeting, MEP Subcommittee Member Osman Oren, Bünyamin Özbek, Hasan Fehmi Kınay, Haydar Akar and Kemalettin Yılmaz Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Ministry of Development Representatives of the Undersecretariat of Treasury, Auditors of the Court of Auditors , TCDD and its subsidiaries, General Manager and Board members and senior executives.
In the first part of the meeting, the report prepared by the auditors of the Court of Accounts, evaluating the activities of the organizations 2011 year, suggestions and opinions were discussed.
Afterwards, the General Managers talked about the problems related to the management, finance and legislation of their organizations.
TCDD General Manager Süleyman Karaman gave information to the members about the developments in the railways. Last 10 1094 kilometers of new railway construction and 3 thousand 434 kilometers of high-speed and conventional line construction is continuing indicating that Karaman, with the state policy of the railways have completed several complementary projects that reminded me of a project. Karaman outlined these works as follows: ıyla The construction of high-speed rail, especially the core high-speed rail network, continues. Refreshing roads and car park. Railways connect to OSB and ports. Existing lines are electrified and signaled. In areas with heavy traffic, roads are double-lined. Together with the private sector, the establishment of a new railway industry was accelerated and important developments were achieved. Logistics centers are located all over the country. The construction of a railway corridor between the two continents continues in order to bring the modern Silk Road from China to Europe. Railways are restructured to become a more efficient and efficient organization. In cooperation with the local authorities, the city continues to work on providing subway services in subway standards.
General Director of TCDD Karaman thanked the Commission members for their support at the end of his speech.
The members of the KIT's Sub-Commission declared that they would assist in the resolution of common issues concerning other ministries and organizations, in particular legislative issues.
In the meeting, it was decided to continue to monitor some of the issues in the related report and to transfer some of the issues to the TGNA Commission.
