Sivas Cumhuriyet University rail system on the table
Rector of Sivas Cumhuriyet University Dr. Faruk Kocacik, the university's transportation problem on the solution of both the rail system and the construction of the bridge to Ishan-TOKI said at the table.
In parallel with the increase in the number of students at Cumhuriyet University, the transportation problem could not be solved. Increasing the number of buses due to the density of students was not enough to solve the problem. Due to the narrowness of the Fadlum Bridge, which connects Ishan-TOKI location to the university, there is congestion during peak hours. The work done by the Rectorate for the construction of the additional bridge was stuck to the Board of Monuments, since Fadlum Bridge is a historical one.
Rector Prof. Dr. Faruk Kocacık said, “We need to overcome this problem somehow. We are trying to solve the wall in cooperation with the Municipality, Special Administration and Highways. " said.
BLOCK THE HISTORY TO FADLUM
Pointing out that they had difficulties on Fadlum Bridge and there was a queue on the bridge due to the traffic density, Kocacık continued as follows: “We hold meetings at least once a week to solve the problem. There is a problem in the expropriation of the bridge. There is a farm on our side of the bridge, we cannot do anything private. If we file a lawsuit, it will take 10 years for expropriation, who will wait that long. This is how that bridge will be used for 10 years. On the other hand, since the bridge is historical, nothing can be done 53 meters to the right and left. The Board of Monuments comes into play. Somehow we have to overcome this problem. We are trying to solve the wall in cooperation with the Municipality, Special Administration and Highways.
RAIL SYSTEM IS LATE
Rector Faruk Kocacik said that the work on the rail system continues, said that they are in cooperation with Habip Soluk, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, and that he thinks that the rail system should be solved.
Stating that they met with technical teams from TCDD 4th Regional Directorate, they will hold a meeting at the ministry in Ankara this week and discuss the issue, and the investigations of the technical teams continue. Although it is a little late, we are waiting for it, I hope. The university has a transportation problem and we believe that this problem will be solved with the rail system. " He spoke in the form.
