Turkey Title of the Draft Law on Liberalization of Railway Transport Bill
With the Summary of the draft bill, railway passengers and the most appropriate in terms of quality of services freight transport, effective and lowest price offered will be the Republic of Turkey State Railways General Directorate to be configured as railway infrastructure operator, the Republic of Turkey State Railways Transportation as a railroad train operators with the Corporation name a the establishment of the company, the regulations of the railway infrastructure operator and the railway train operator and other matters related to the legal and financial structure, activities and personnel of the railway train, the establishment of railway infrastructure for public legal entities and joint stock companies registered in the trade registry and the use of this infrastructure, regulations are envisaged to enable registered joint-stock companies to perform railway infrastructure and railway train operations.
