Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Eskisehir-Konya High-Speed Train line is addressed to citizens at the opening.
Here are the highlights from Erdogan's speech:
WE WILL MEET SİVAS
-I hope we are bringing Eskişehir and Konya together by high speed train. I hope we will bring together Istanbul, Bursa and Sivas.
-We have a principle that we pay close attention to in our politics, especially in the government. We never promised what we could not do. When we said that we would connect Ankara with Eskişehir by high speed train, someone saw it as a raw dream.
- We will open the Eskişehir-Istanbul line on October 29 this year with Marmaray in Istanbul during the Republic Day celebrations.
We will reach all cities up to Gaziantep by high-speed train.
-Turkey did not renew the railways made 150 years ago. The road is civilization. Railways are civilization. Now we have become a country that exports rail to the world.
Everybody should know that Turkey is a big state.
-We took strength from our brotherhood. We've known every problem hand in hand and heartfelt.
I've also expressed that we accept this apology for my people on behalf of our martyrs.
- Prime Minister Netanyahu stated that he had instructed his government to pay compensation to the relatives of our martyrs.
In addition, Netanyahu stated that the embargo on the entry of consumer goods to Palestine will be lifted.
- It will not bring back our 9 martyrs who were killed in Blue Marmara and the losses in Palestine; In order to protect the rights of the Palestinian people and the rights of the families of martyrs
