General Manager Erol İnalın TÜVASAŞ

General Manager Erol İnalın TÜVASAŞ
Can we recognize TÜVASAŞ? TÜVASAŞ foundation purpose?
Rail transportation started in 1866 in our country, all imported, maintenance-repairs are carried out with vehicles dependent on the external. This situation caused continuous problems and cuts in railway operations and increased costs. The first plants of TÜVASAŞ were put into operation under the name of esi Wagon Repair Workshop tarih on 25 October 1951 in order to eliminate these problems. In the year of 1961, Adapazarı Railway Factory (ADF) was named as the first car in 1962. TÜVASAŞ purpose of establishment of the Republic of Turkey is to produce cars to be used in the Railways TCDD. TÜVASAŞ, which has made 31.12.2012 passenger cars and 1.793 bin 36 passenger cars' maintenance, repair, overhaul and modernization as of 224 date, is not only dependent on our country but also our national economy. contributes significantly.
What is Turkey's first wagon manufacturing factory TÜVASAŞ objectives? What is the importance of Turkey's railway transportation TÜVASAŞ?
The importance of TÜVASAŞ has been the result of many successes since 1951. In addition, railway transportation is the most comfortable and safest public transportation in the world. The managers of our country also paid attention to railway transportation in the years when the Republic was established. Although it falls from the agenda from time to time by the governments, it is a matter of concern for our current government. New railways are built and railways are put on the neglected areas of our country. At this point, TÜVASAŞ serves as a state-owned wagon manufacturing and repair factory. Our importance is due to this. For the TCDD, we have produced 2012 pieces of Diesel Train Set Tool, 28 pieces K20 Sleeper Modernization in 50 and 49 units (common with EUROTEM) and 30 BDZ wagons for Bulgarian Railways. As of the end of 84 2012 Diesel Train Set Vehicles that we produce to TCDD, we have delivered 37; the rest will be completed in 2013.
It was claimed that there was a problem in the shipment of the sleeping cars produced by TÜVASAŞ for Bulgaria, and the orders were held at customs due to the lack of speed tests of the wagons; is the information correct? If so, what is the current situation?
There is no deficiency or problem caused by TÜVASAŞ in the delivery of the wagons we manufactured for Bulgaria. Production of order wagons was completed; however, speed tests should be carried out at 176 km / h. In fact, it is required to carry out tests with 160 km / h speed, but it is appropriate to test with 176 km / h according to European Union norms. There is no rail track in Bulgaria State Railways to ensure that the wagons reach this speed. Therefore, we will carry out the tests in the direction of our High Speed Train; however, the tender was opened at the TCDD. Now the tender process is completed and we are in the process of making our tests at 176 km / h.
How do you assess the position TÜVASAŞ in Turkey?
TÜVASAŞ is the only wagon factory in our country. If you think that all the wagons you ride in our country, TÜVASAŞ has produced, produced, repaired and modernized. He even makes wagons of other countries. We produce many kinds of wagons. Of course, Turkey's only and very special kurumuyuz. In this respect, our position is very important.
Turkey has reached today's rail transport which size? What is the level of rail vehicles?
I did my previous duty as Assistant General Manager of TCDD. 40 is an annual railroad. In this respect, I am familiar with the dimensions of railway transportation. rail transport in Turkey is experiencing the best period in our history today Republic; new rail nets continue to be built. As our Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Mr. Binali Yıldırım stated, we will not have a city where especially the high speed train does not go. In addition, all our cities are also preparing for the transition to metro and light rail system.
Our level in the field of rail vehicles is ahead of many European and Middle Eastern countries as can be understood from our export. In addition to the production we made for Bulgaria, we also produce wagons for Iraqi Railways in the past. We have many product types such as Sleepers, Food Wagons, Generator Wagons, Diesel Sets. In addition, we have the TS EN 2010-15085 certificate since May 2 as a requirement of being an organization that manufactures in accordance with international standards. In 15085, we got a positive note from the audits regarding TSEN 2011 "Railway Applications - Standard for the Welding of Railway Vehicles and Components". On the other hand, Turkey Wagon Industry Inc., an ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System certificate purchased. This is how we documented our understanding of production in accordance with world standards.
Which standards are the technological development level in your wagons?
In our wagon productions, each type is manufactured using the latest technology in its class. Air conditioners - climatic systems, facilities for disabled people, Electro-Pronmatic Revolving Doors, Pneumatic sliding doors, ergonomic seats, vacuum wc's are available in all our wagons. For passenger comfort and comfort, we think even the finest detail of our new production and modernization and repairing cars. In fact, it would be more accurate to continue to mention our documents that show our level of technological development and quality. For example, at the end of this month ie January xnumx't to Turkey Wagon Industry Inc., the Turkish Standards Institute (as a result TSE) made by checking the TS EN ISO 2013: 9001 Quality Management agreed that the system is effective, TÜVASAŞ TS EN ISO 2008: 9001 Quality Management System Certificate renewed. Moreover, TÜVASAŞ is the first wagon manufacturer to apply for TSI certification in Europe in the production of classic wagons with BDZs we produce for Bulgarian State Railways.
Can you evaluate the export and import notes of TÜVASAŞ?
As a result of the export activities started in 1971, 77 wagons were exported to Pakistan and Bangladesh. In recent years, TÜVASAŞ has been accelerating the export of wagons abroad and the 2005 unit wagon 12, which was started to be manufactured in 28 for Iraqi Railways, was delivered on May 2006. In 2012, the program was designed to produce 30 sleepers for the Bulgarian Railways and in the same year it was fully produced and tested. In 2013, we will produce and deliver various types of 14 wagons to Iraqi State Railways.
What do you think about 2023 vision is your expectations in export?
As Mr. Prime Minister about 2023 vision, a very different Turkey for much more in the future, we have a much more developed industry expectations. Of course at this point, we will do our duty. In 2013, after Iraq, we continue our works in the tender processes for the production and repair of wagons for Egyptian railways. We are in the process of realizing our projects and investments that will carry TÜVASAŞ further than it currently is. We are the best, most technological wagons not only for our country; we aim to produce for the whole world. We want to make Turkish wagons not only on our rail network but on the tracks of the whole world, especially in Europe and Middle East countries. This will of course take time, but we will succeed. We want to take our place in the first row of exports.
Does TÜVASAŞ have a situation like privatization?
We can't have any savings or ideas. The decisions of our government, our government, will of course be implemented; However, TÜVASAŞ does not have such a topic on our agenda. As a matter of fact, we read the news from time to time in the national and local press with surprise. We aim to make TÜVASAŞ the most prestigious and qualified wagon manufacturer in the world. This is our only goal.
