Establishment of Logistics Center in Eastern Black Sea
The German delegation, including the Chairman of the Board of the Shipment Economy and Logistics Institute (ISL), which operates in the field of logistics and economics in the world, examined the logistics center planned to be established in Trabzon and Rize in the Eastern Black Sea.

It is stated that they will prepare a technical report on the logistics center to be established in the Eastern Black Sea, and the Chairman of the ISL Board of Directors in Germany, who operates in the field of logistics and economy in the world, especially in Russia and China. Dr. Hans Dietrich, the cooperative manager of the institutions operating logistics in the same country, Dr. Thomas Nobel and Rudiger Beckman, Manager of Germany's Jade Weser Port, arrived in Trabzon.

These people, who learned that they designed the logistics centers in the world, made examinations at 3 different addresses in Trabzon and Rize about the logistics center to be established in the Eastern Black Sea.

After the examinations, as well as the German delegation, the Governor of Trabzon Recep Kızılcık, Trabzon Mayor Orhan Fevzi Gümrükçüoğlu, Eastern Black Sea Development Agency

(DOKA) Secretary General Çetin Oktay Kaldırım, Trabzon Chamber of Commerce and Industry

(TTSO) President Suat Hacısalihoğlu and a meeting was held at the Trabzon Governorship with the participation of the managers of various institutions.

At the opening of the meeting, Governor Cranberry pointed out the importance of the logistics center they dreamed of to establish in Trabzon, and stated that the German delegation would help them with examples of practices in the world and the report they would prepare.

Prof. Dr. Pointing to Trabzon's geographical location, Dietrich said, "Trabzon is in a very important geography in terms of container and freight traffic, starting from the regional market to the markets around the world."

Dietrich said that first a regional and then an international logistics center could be established in Trabzon.
