In the Torbalı district of İzmir, the scrap dealers, who were claimed to have collected the slag of maintenance and repair waste thrown along the railway, were caught and detained upon the notice of the citizens.
According to the information obtained, Torbalı District Police Department teams assessed the report from the citizens, first seized the persons named AK and UN at the Train Station location with 120 kilograms of waste, and approximately two hours later NA and GA together with 700 kilograms of waste material and detained them. It has been reported that legal proceedings have been initiated and handed over to the judicial authorities for the “open theft” crime against 4 people arrested and detained by the prosecution order.
In the meantime, the materials collected from the edge of the railroad tracks, State Railways (FDI) as a result of the maintenance and repair of waste is considered as a result, so it was learned that the person was not complained.
