Bursa Metropolitan Municipality is now adding the airline to its transportation range after the road, rail and sea route. Final preparations are being made at the terminal buildings at Gemlik Port, where ground services will be provided for seaplane flights to be launched between Gemlik and the Istanbul Golden Horn.
The Metropolitan Municipality, which started a new era in intercity transportation with sea buses in line with the goal of Bursa being an accessible city in every area, is now preparing to start seaplane flights between Gemlik and Istanbul Golden Horn. Mayor Altepe stated that the two buildings on Gemlik Pier where ground services will be provided were rented by the Metropolitan Municipality and the maintenance works of the buildings were carried out by Burulaş and said, “When the works regarding the approvals are completed, we will start the voyages within one month at the latest. The Golden Horn will be reached by a journey of 19-15 minutes from Gemlik with 20-passenger aircraft. The Golden Horn is already the center of Istanbul, it is possible to reach any point you want from there. Our preparations for the transportation of our passengers to Gemlik and their connection to the city center on their return from Istanbul are also continuing.
