Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Gökçek, on the question of why the Ankara Yenimahalle Şentepe ropeway project was cancelled, stated that today's tender system was wrong, and I was going to build a ropeway. We will start from Şentepe. It would be a short distance of 4 stops. At a distance of 3,5 kilometers. We put that system out to tender. We asked the men to determine the price first. The men gave us a price that this system would increase to 20 million Euros. They even said there was a bargaining chip in it. We had considered a bargaining share of around 30 percent. As far as we understand, the two companies have made an agreement among themselves. Someone gave 2, someone gave 38 million euros. In this case, we had to cancel the cable car tender. Still, people are sad. You want to do it, you can't. Unfortunately, this incident that happened 42 days ago really bothered me.
These kinds of events happen to us often. I think therefore create problems in Turkey it must be addressed in advance of the auction.
