İzmir Metropolitan Municipality is working on a 2-kilometer monorail system that will be integrated into İZBAN and only provide access to the fairground.

Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, which has also taken action on transportation to the new fair complex in Gaziemir, where the field arrangement and construction works have started, is working on a 2-kilometer monorail system that will be integrated into İZBAN and only provide access to the fair area.

On the other hand, the Metropolitan Municipality is planning new zoning ways to ease access to the fair complex, which will cost approximately 400 million lira. The monorail system, which will work on the beams to be placed on the raised columns, will start from the ESBAŞ station of İZBAN and will continue from the ring road parallel to the ring road - Gaziemir Junction - by cutting Akçay Street and reach the new fairground. The monorail system, which is planned as a single round-trip line, will carry passengers by providing uninterrupted transportation between İZBAN and the new fairground on a 2-kilometer route. Passengers who want to come to the new fair complex will be transported by the monorail system after arriving at the ESBAŞ station by metro and İZBAN.

Visitors will be able to use the same system on their return from the fair. monorail seen examples in the world's developed cities, it will be established for the first time in Izmir, Turkey.
