Mayor Gökçek Introduced Ankara's Ropeway Project: Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Melih Gökçek stated that the only solution that can serve both sides of Dikmen Valley is a cable car.
President Gökçek, Ankara's traffic problem as a solution to the question brought to the agenda from the 'Red Crescent'dan Rise presented to the ropeway project. When the valley is completed, a population of about 100 thousand will be revealed with its immediate surroundings. Dikmen Street which is used as the arrival route on one side and Hoşdere Street which is used as the arrival route on the other side will not be able to handle this load. You have to find a solution. Since there is no chance of opening a third route, it is not possible to physically pass the metro from the Dikmen Valley. The only solution that can serve both sides of the valley is the cable car.
