Reminding that the Ankara-Eskişehir section of the Ankara-Istanbul high-speed train project was completed and put into service, Minister Yıldırım stated that the Ankara-Konya line was also opened to service and the passengers who went to Ankara preferred the high-speed train. Emphasizing that the number of passengers carried on Ankara-Eskişehir and Ankara-Konya high-speed train services is close to 7 million, Minister Yıldırım said, “The rate of those traveling by high-speed train between Eskişehir-Ankara is 73 percent. 10 TWIN KILOMETER WILL BRING NEW RAILWAY
Explaining that the Istanbul-Ankara high-speed train line will be opened at the end of next year, Minister Yıldırım said, “There are Eskişehir-Bursa and Yozgat, Sivas, Afyon and İzmir lines from Ankara. By 2023, we will build 4 thousand kilometers of new railway lines, 10 thousand of which are high-speed trains. ”
