The connection of YHT with Bursa has been planned by constructing a new 110 km railway. With the completion of the project, the travel time between Ankara and Bursa will be 2 hours and 15 minutes. In addition, with the realization of the project that will facilitate the transportation between the most important cities of our country such as Ankara and Izmir, it is planned to travel between Ankara and Afyon in 1,5 hours and Afyon-İzmir in 2,5 hours, Ankara-İzmir in 3 hours 30 minutes. Tender studies are continuing in the Polatlı-Afyonkarahisar section, the first phase of the Ankara-İzmir YHT project.
