Samsun Grand Municipal Assembly, December, the second joint commission meeting was held under the chairmanship of AK Party Municipal Council Member Turan Çakır. In the meeting, firstly, the operating lease price proposal of the Taflan-Çatalçam-İncesu Transfer bus line, which was commissioned to feed the Samsun Light Rail System a while ago, was discussed. Speaking in front of the proposal, MHP Council Member Cemalettin Kola said that the operating rental costs of the Metropolitan Municipality on the bus lines were low.
Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Secretary General Sefer Arlı stated that he did not agree with the idea that the bus line operating rent prices were low and he stated that they were rented according to their bus size and routes. According to the transportation master plan of the Metropolitan Municipality rail system to feed the new bus lines Arlı said, "We are people to encourage people to public transport, free of charge, we carry no bus ring lines and occupancy rate is around 30." He said.
