Investments made in Sivas in 2012 and planned to be made in 2013 were evaluated at the meeting chaired by the Minister of National Defense İsmet Yılmaz, attended by members of parliament and administrators of various institutions.
AK Party Sivas deputies Nursuna Memecan, Hilmi Bilgin and Ali Turan, former Sivas Governor and Ministry Counselor Hasan Canpolat, TCDD General Manager Suleyman Karaman, Deputy General Manager DSI Ali Cuneyt Derek, Deputy General Director of Highways Kenan Adiloglu, General Director of Tudemsas Yildiray Kocarslan Sivas Regional Managers and other unit officials attended the meeting.
The presenters at the meeting TCDD General Director Süleyman Karaman, investments and Ankara-Sivas High Speed ​​Train in Turkey in general (YHT) gave information about the work. Stating that 93 percent physical progress has been achieved on the Yerköy-Sivas line and the distance between Ankara and Yerköy was awarded in 2012, Karaman noted that the project will be at the end of 2015 or 2016. Karaman emphasized that the distance between Ankara and Sivas will decrease to 2 hours when the project is completed.
