Minister Yıldırım: Logistics Center to be Built in Kars

Transportation, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım stated that the logistics center will be built in Kars.
Providing information about the latest developments related to Logistics Center in Kars Governorate, Minister Binali Yıldırım said, “Logistics Center is being built in Sir Erzurum. Kars was abandoned. Kars 'is shifted to Erzurum'. I saw that there was such an urban legend. Then we said it. Now I say it clearly; I do not object to the sweet competition of Kars and Erzurum. But nobody can afford to take our project from Kars and take it to Erzurum. ”
Stating that the Logistics Center has already been built to Erzurum, Yıldırım said, in Erzurum is separate, Kars is separate. The Erzurum project is a project related to the conventional railway line from Erzurum to Erzincan. The Kars project is part of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars project. It is also a project that will be joined by our rail network which continues to Kars. In the coming years, Nakhichevan-Kars connection is a project to benefit. Therefore, we will establish such a logistics center in a location where the 3 important project meets. Location determination studies have been completed. Feasibility was made.
