Ankara Metro should be included in 60 age cards
CHP Ankara Provincial Disciplinary Board member Eşber Atila stated that Ankara Metropolitan Municipality should reduce the 60 age cards, which increase every year under the name of updating, and that this application should be included in the Ankara Metro. Atila said, “The pass fee is 10 TL in İzmir and 24 TL in Ankara. This is ruthlessness ”he said. Stating that their motion to the Municipal Council on this issue was inconclusive, Atila continued as follows: “Ankara Metropolitan Municipality increased the pass fees from 10 TL in İzmir to 22 TL in Ankara from 24 TL. The card used by citizens aged 60 and over is raised under the name of updates every January. While the municipality receives only 50 TL for these cards, which are valid on ferries, subways and buses in Izmir, a fee of 70 TL is charged for this card used only on buses in Ankara at certain times. " Stating that the people are faced with difficulties, Eşber Atila said, "The understanding of making an exorbitant profit from every service provided should be abandoned and the understanding of providing the best service to the people in the cheapest way should be adopted."
