Izmir suburban system goes up to 188 km | İZBAN

Stating that the 2023-kilometer section between Torbalı and Cumaovası will be opened in November 30 at the latest and suburban transportation will begin, Yıldırım said that the section of the İZBAN line from Cumovası to Torbalı, which is 2013 kilometers away, will have frequent train services in 30 minutes. With the completion of this place, the 3-kilometer line will increase to 88 kilometers. Our goal is not limited to this, we will start the construction of the 112-kilometer line in the Torbalı-Selçuk stage next year. We will also start the project for the continuation of İZBAN north line next year. The project works of the 26-kilometer stage from Aliağa to Bergama will be completed by the end of the year, and we will have a tender next year. When the line from Bergama to Selçuk is completely finished, it will reach a length of 42 kilometers. İZBAN, this state already retains the title of Turkey's longest rail transit system. By increasing this by 188 kilometers, we increase it to 100 kilometers. " said.
