In the central Yıldırım District High Specialized Bridge Interchange, the teams that maintained the luminous warning sign broke off the telephone cable passing through the bridge. The broken cable fell on the rail and road. The traffic accident occurred when the drivers, who thought that the cable was the electric cable, suddenly slowed down. Caryatağı-University and Caryatağı-Emek metro flights were canceled for security reasons. Some passengers on the subway had to go to the Caryatagi station by walking over the rails. While the Bursaray buses are about 1 hour apart, citizens went to their destination by buses belonging to Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, located next to the train stations.
The broken telephone wire was repaired after 1 hourly operation, and the disrupted subway flights returned to normal.
