AnsaldoBreda and China Railway company CNR reached a 10-year agreement for the production of low-floor light rail vehicles.
Production license of Sirio Series low-floor light rail system vehicles produced by Ansaldo Breda was given to CNR company of China. With the agreement signed on October 10, 200 low-floor light rail vehicles worth 600 million euros will be produced for Chinese cities.
In July, Ansoldo STS agreed to license CNR's TramWave catenary-free system.
