Kırşehir-Aksaray-Ulukışla Railway Project Public Participation Meeting was Held

In accordance with the 9th article of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Regulation of the Kırşehir-Aksaray-Ulukışla Railway project, the “Public Participation Meeting” was held at the Cultural Center.
The fact that the participants of the meeting and the members of the Kırşehir press together with the three village headmen did not leave.
The railway project was detailed and explained at the meeting. It was reported that the high standard railway project, which started in Kırşehir and connected to Ulukışla from Kırşehir, Ortaköy and Aksaray, was prepared as an implementation project. The project will connect Kırşehir and Aksaray to the ports both in the north and the south. It is stated that the length of the railway line planned to be built between Kırşehir-Aksaray-Ulukışla is 209 kilometers, while the average travel time for passenger trains is 55 minutes and 160 minutes for freight trains.
Kırşehir-Aksaray-Ulukışla Railway Survey Project covers the years 2012-2011, according to the information regarding the 2012 investment proposals at the Provincial Coordination Board and Administration Branch Heads meeting held in April. While the project amount was 2 million 513 thousand TL, the end of 2011 expenditure was 413 thousand TL. Railway Survey Project and Engineering Services started the project in the second half of 2011.
The first leg of the project is Kırşehir-Aksaray-Ulukışla, the second stage is Yerköy-Kırşehir, the third stage is Yerköy-Çorum and the fourth and the last stage is Çorum-Samsun.
