Transportation Minister Yildirim, Ankara-Istanbul YHT line with the completion date of Marmaray 30 September 2013'ya reported.

“When we consider the project as Ankara-Istanbul, there are more than 750 art structures. Currently 2 thousand people work in this region. 600 work machines are working. Upon the question of a journalist, Minister Yıldırım said that they aim to complete the Marmaray project, which is co-ordinated with the Ankara-İstanbul YHT project, at 30 September 2013.

Minister Yıldırım, describing the completion of both Ankara-Istanbul YHT and Marmaray projects in one year as "a very ambitious period", expressed that they trust the contractors and they believe that they will complete the projects within this period.
