New Route
The existing tram line, which plays an important role in urban transportation, operates between the Alaeddin-University Campus. The current route has changed many of the transportation routes on the route, and has significantly relieved city transportation.
However, the expansion of Konya and the increase of its population make new tram routes obligatory. In this context, the opening of a new line that will connect the city tram line, which ends in Alaeddin, from the Mevlana to the Palace of Justice, from the Justice Palace to the Small Industrial Sites and finally from the Organized Industrial Zone to the Selçuk University campus will ease the traffic that is available between these stops.
Renewal of the existing Line and Tramways
The city tram line, which has an important place in Konya transportation, should be suitable for the developing Konya economy. For this purpose, it is necessary to replace the existing tramways with modern trams by replacing the old tram line.
