Fast train speeded up

The work of the High Speed ​​Train Project has accelerated. A construction site was established under the Adnan Menderes Bridge and a feverish work was initiated.
Istanbul-Ankara High Speed ​​Train Project has been accelerated. Adnan Menderes Bridge under the bridge of employees who work on the construction site, the coastal rails on the run is running a feverish days these days. Rails are emptied and made suitable for fast train. As it is known, the train service was stopped for 30 months due to the construction works of Köseköy-Gebze section of the High Speed ​​Train Project which will reduce the railway transportation between Ankara and Istanbul to approximately three hours. As a result of the studies, Ankara-Istanbul 3 hours, Ankara-Gebze between the 2 hours will go to 30 minutes. Studies to be completed before this work continues in full swing.


The foundation of Köseköy-Gebze line, which is the last link of Ankara-Istanbul High Speed ​​Train Line, was laid by Science, Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergün, Minister of Transport, Maritime and Communication Binali Yıldırım and Minister for EU Affairs Egemen Bağış. The project will be integrated with Marmaray and it is aimed to be completed in 2013. The construction site under the Adnan Menderes Bridge aims to be completed quickly in the city.
