Beyoğlu Tersane Caddesi 7 to be closed to traffic in October

In a written statement made by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, Beyoğlu Tersane Caddesi will be constructed within the scope of the "Istanbul Metro Yenikapı-Unkapanı Metro Construction Work" for the construction of the steel construction pier on the approach viaduct of the "Haliç Metro Crossing Bridge" on Saturday, October 6 at 24.00. It was stated that it will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic between 7 on Sunday, October 24.00.

Vehicles going from Karaköy to Unkapanı, Balat direction; On the Galata Bridge-Eminönü, vehicles going from Şişhane to Karaköy, Eminönü; It was noted that vehicles that will go over Unkapanı Bridge-Eminönü-Galata Bridge, from Unkapanı, Balat to Karaköy direction, and should cruise over Eminönü-Galata Bridge.

In the statement, it was stated that the closure of Tersane Street to vehicle and pedestrian traffic for a day was deemed appropriate with the decision of the Transportation Traffic Commission dated October 2, 2012.

It was noted that the Haliç Metro Crossing Bridge was built in the Istanbul Metro, with a total length of 5.2 kilometers, to connect the tunnels coming from the Şehzadebaşı and Şişhane direction of the Taksim-Yenikapı Metro Line and to enable the passage over the Golden Horn.

When the construction of the Metro Crossing Bridge is completed, a passenger who takes the subway from Sarıyer-Hacıosman to the Yenikapı transfer station without interruption, from there via the Marmaray connection, Kadıköy- It has been reported that it can reach Kartal, Bakırköy-Atatürk Airport or Bağcılar-Olimpiyatköyü-Başakşehir in a short time.
