YHT Yerköy Sivas Line Infrastructure Works 90 Percent Completed

In the high-speed train project, which will reduce Ankara-Sivas to 3 hours, 90 percent progress has been made in Yerköy-Sivas infrastructure works after the tender for the Yozgat-Sivas line and Ankara-Kırıkkale-Yerköy section. Ankara-Sivas high-speed train project is aimed to be completed in 2016. A senior official from TCDD said that the main route works continue in the form of excavation, filling, sub-base layer, concrete amount, excavation and tunnel. Noting that the tender for the Ankara-Yerköy line was delayed due to the highway project being on the agenda, the official said, “Therefore, the projects of the highway and the railway coincided with each other. But this year we will tender the second part. The area between Kırıkkale and Yerköy is a flat area, so it will go faster there. But we will have some difficulty in Elmadağ. In the end, it will all end in 2016,” he said.

There are Chinese in the consortium
