Konya is among the two Regional Directorates. Some of the railroads passing through the provincial boundaries of the province of Konya are connected to the Adana Regional Directorate and a division to the Afyon Regional Directorate. This situation prevents the working of the non-governmental organizations and the Konya companies by providing a synergy in the matters to be discussed and resolved with the Regional Directorates.
It is of great importance to solve the problems at the primary level as a regional directorate to be established in Konya and high speed train, logistics center, and a new line between Konya-Mersin.
Construction of a modern railway station
The current railway station is inadequate in freight and passenger transportation. In this context, a new and modern railway station must be built in Konya.
