Metal and wood sleepers on the rail are replaced by concrete sleepers.
Rails and sleepers renovation work started in Turkey TCDD on the line in Afyon, Burdur-Gümüşgün decided to renew the railway sleepers. After the 24 km Burdur-Gümüşgün railway, concrete trauma work, rail and road renewal works will continue. The traverse and rail works, which are completely domestic production, are expected to be completed by the end of the year.
According to the information we have obtained, the existing tree sleepers have been used for more than 15 years and have to be replaced because they have lost their life. It is expected that the necessary material supply will be provided for the concrete traumas and renovation works produced in the Afyon Travers Factory and distributed along the road route. This work, which was started on the 24 km Gümüşgün route, will also be implemented on the entire Afyon Region line.
