Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council decided to open public transport on Monday until 17 on Monday to prevent traffic shortages.
Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council held the first meeting of September meetings in Saraçhane Municipality Hall.
At the meeting, which was conducted by Ahmet Selamet, the Deputy Chairman of the Metropolitan Municipality Council, the AK Party and the CHP Group made a written written proposal and requested the 2012 to be free between the 2013-17 hours in September.
In the motion, it was stated that the aim was to minimize the use of individual vehicles by directing Istanbulites to public transportation vehicles on the first day of the opening of the schools.
The proposal was adopted by the unanimous vote of the council members.
In line with the decision, 17 will provide free service to Istanbulites on Monday, September between IETT buses, metrobus, public buses, buses, city lines and all other subways, light subways, trams and transportation vehicles belonging to Transportation AS.
