The accelerated passenger train 31, under the direction of the mechanic SB (62414) traveling from Konya to Karaman, collided with 31 BZJ 42 plate trucks used by MA (80) at the level crossing with warning signs.
With the effect of the collision, the TIR flew into the irrigation canal, located next to the level crossing. In the accident, passengers on the accelerated train survived without injuries, while machinist SD and assistant machinist UN (32) and TIR driver MA were injured.
The injured were taken to various hospitals in the city by ambulances. It was learned that the mechanic B who was under treatment preserved the seriousness of his health. Passengers on the train were sent to Karaman by shuttle bus. Investigation into the accident continues.
