The public has been talking about the 5% increase made by IETT since the end of last week, the exorbitant hike in coin prices. However, while these discussions were going on, the real increase was made to the wages of the suburban train services.
Sirkeci-Halkalı and the train commuting between Haydarpaşa and Pendik was paid a 50 percentage.
The price of the suburban train fares, which is 2 TL one way, has been increased to 3 TL.
The price increase, which was realized as a percentage, was put into effect at the beginning of September.
