President Kadir Topbaş, who gave weight to the rail system of Istanbul, took the route which will connect the business centers to their destinations after the Kadıköy-Kartal line.
Kadir Topbaş, Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, who has focused on rail systems in order to relieve the traffic of Istanbul and to solve the transportation, took the planning of the route connecting the business centers. Topbas, which is the biggest metro investment in the history of the Republic, opened the Kadıköy-Kartal line of 22 with Prime Minister Erdoğan and rolled up its sleeves for Kabataş-Şişli-Tekstilkent-Mahmutbey Subway Line.
The longest line will be
The 24,5 will consist of a total of 2 stations, including the kilometer-long Kabataş-Şişli-Tekstilkent-Mahmutbey Metro Line, the 16 viaduct and the 18 tunnel. This line will also be the longest route of Istanbul2. The line, which will start in Kabataş, will pass through the most intense regions of Istanbul in terms of work and settlement, and will reach Beşiktaş, Şişli, Mecidiyeköy, Kağıthane and Tekstilkent respectively. The integration of the new line with the ongoing Kirazlı-Başakşehir Metro Line will be provided from Mahmutbey Station.
4,5 to be completed in the year
With the completion of the construction of the Kabataş-Mahmutbey Metro Line, which is close to all of the underground tunnels, approximately 1 million passengers will be transported per day. 24,5 kilometer line, Kabatas, Dolmabahce, Besiktas, Darphane, Mecidiyekoy-Sisli, Caglayan, Kagithane, Nurtepe, Yesilpinar, Veysel Karani, Aksemsettin, Kazim Karabekir, Yenimahalle, Karadeniz Neighborhood, Tekstilkent, 100. Year, Mahmutbey, -TEM, will consist of Mahmutbey stations. The line to be built with Build-Operate-Transfer model will be completed in 4,5 year.
