The first subway of the Anatolian Side Kadıköy Kartal metro is inaugurated today with the participation of Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. It is 21.6 kilometers long and consists of 16 stations. Kadıköy- 700 thousand people will travel daily with the Eagle Metro.
The length of the line will reach 24.5 after Kaynarca Station is commissioned. Thus, the total cost of the line will be 1.9 billion dollars.

The biggest metro investment in the history of the Republic Kadıköy144 wagons were purchased for Kartal. Even all the vehicles to be used have a driverless feature. In this way, operations such as parking at night, entering the repair-maintenance workshop can be carried out by an operator in the control center and without a driver.
This will benefit both the business economy and mobility. Security measures have also been taken in wagons that have features such as heating, cooling and ventilation. Wagons will be monitored inside and outside the vehicle with a closed circuit camera system.
With the Dynamic Road Map in the wagons, passengers will be informed about which stations the vehicle is heading to, which stations are leaving behind and transfer points to other transport systems.
