Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Regional Director of State Railways Birol Sağlam stated that 5 projects are continuing throughout the city and said, “We are continuing our viaduct works between Arifiye and Mekece for the High Speed Train Project. The tender for the works to be carried out between Doğançay Arifiye was canceled. A high-speed train line will be laid parallel to the existing line between Sapanca and Büyükderbent. We will build a new station building 500 meters west of the station in Sapanca. There will be two stations in Sakarya, 1 in Pamukova and 1 in Sapanca. However, there is no clear information as to whether the high-speed train will stop there. The General Directorate will decide on this, ”he said.
