In order to meet the additional financing needs of the Railway Bosphorus Tube Crossing Section of the Marmaray Project, the loan amount to be obtained from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency was increased to 140 billion 810 million Japanese Yen (JPY).

In the statement made by the Undersecretariat of Treasury, as a result of the negotiations between the Undersecretariat of Treasury and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency in order to meet the additional financing needs of the Marmaray Project - Railway Bosphorus Tube Crossing Section, which is being carried out by the General Directorate of Railways, Ports and Airports Construction of the Ministry of Transport, the amount of the Loan Agreement dated February 18, 2005 was determined. It was reported that it was agreed to increase from 98 billion 732 million JPY to 140 billion 810 million JPY. In the statement, it was stated that the Exchange of Notes and Loan Agreement Amendment regarding the revision was signed between the Turkish and Japanese parties today.
