Marmaray Project's Credit to be Taken from Japanese International Cooperation Agency

The amount of credit to be taken from the Japanese International Cooperation Agency to meet the additional financing requirement of the Railway Bosphorus Tube Crossing Section of the Marmaray Project was increased to 140 billion 810 million Japanese Yen (JPY).
In the statement made by the Undersecretariat of Treasury, the Loan dated February 18, 2005, as a result of the negotiations between the Undersecretariat of Treasury and the Japanese International Cooperation Agency to meet the additional financing needs of the Marmaray Project - Railway Bosphorus Tube Crossing Section, carried out by the Ministry of Transport, General Directorate of Railways, Ports and Airports Construction. It is reported that the agreement has been agreed to increase the amount from 98 billion 732 million JPY to 140 billion 810 million JPY. In the statement, it is stated that the Amendment of the Note and Credit Agreement regarding the revision in question has been signed between the Turkish and Japanese parties today.
