A Light Rail System Will Be Built in Malatya

Malatyagaz, Aksa Elektrik, Türk Telekom and Highways Regional Directorate attended the Ring Road Coordination Meeting held in the office under the chairmanship of Governor Ulvi Saran, together with Malatya Mayor Ahmet Çakır.

Governor Saran stated that the institutions working on the ring road held such a consultation meeting in order not to cause any disruptions in contact with each other and said, “We want to ensure technical cooperation between the units. We hold these meetings periodically,” he said.

Noting that there are highways, TEDAŞ, Telecom, natural gas and Telecom infrastructure services in the regions where they work and on the ring road, Mayor Ahmet Çakır said, “We aim to affect the citizens less by coordinating them to carry out the works in a healthier and more planned manner. The work at the western entrance covers a 6-kilometer section. Work started here. We want to coordinate and carry out the work immediately," he said.

Çakır said that they are working on public transportation at the West entrance and said, “The widths of the completely light rail system and the side roads related to other public transportation system were planned. We are currently working on this plan. We will share this work with the public in a very short time. We are starting a new process in public transportation. Now 2 different companies are working on this. This coordination is important not only because of a problem but also in terms of getting things done healthier. ”

Cakir, the Western entrance of the planting of 200 thousand trees and other planting planting will be done.
