Islahiye Railway Opened to Transportation

In İslahiye, the railway, which was shut down due to the damage of the rails during the explosion during the passage of the freight train, was reopened with the renewal of the rails.

According to the information obtained from the officials of the State Railways (DDY) Adana Regional Directorate, the road was closed to transportation due to the explosion that occurred during the passage of the train loaded with iron ore from the Fevzipaşa Train Station of İslahiye district in the direction of İskenderun yesterday evening.

As a result of the work carried out by the teams from the DDY Adana Regional Directorate, the derailed wagon was pulled and the damaged rails were also repaired. After the completion of the works, the railway was opened to transportation.
