Young Engineers in Engineering Camp Investigate Tram Construction

High school students attending the Young Engineer Academy camp, organized with the contributions of TÜBİTAK and Bursa Technical University hosted by Kültür A.Ş.
Bursa Metropolitan Municipality organized summer camps for students at primary level to make the best use of their summer vacations. Kültür A.Ş. The content of the camps, which were hosted by Bursa Science and Technology Center, started with the closure of schools and continued until Ramadan, was determined according to the age and education levels of the student groups. Young Engineering Academy, the last camp organized with the support of TÜBİTAK, also attracted great attention from high school students.
The content of the Young Engineer Academy, which was organized for high school students, differed from other summer camps. The students who attended the camp were given lessons on personal development, higher engineering education, social content design and basic concepts of R&D. During the camp, students; BURULAŞ with sightseeing of the new stadium Bursaspor, Turkey's first indigenous tram project examined the scene. The students who will become the future scientists had the opportunity to get information about the technical details from the authorities and learn the studies at first hand. Students who sweat the authorities with the technical questions they asked stated that they admire the success shown in the design and production of industrial products.
Stating that they have realized a total of 5 camps in Bursa with the closing of the schools, Metropolitan Mayor Recep Altepe stated that they help students learn with fun through the organized camps. Saying that the summer camps will end with the beginning of Ramadan, Mayor Altepe said, “We are very pleased with our children's interest in engineering and science. We organize the camp programs, where they continue their education without interruption in summer or winter, but by adding fun and pleasure to increase this interest. We provide all necessary infrastructure systems for the participants of the camp to improve themselves. I am very happy that we will entrust our future to our equipped children. ” said.
