In the rating of "The Global Enabling Trade Report 2012" made by the World Economic Forum, Ukraine's railways ranked 27th in terms of quality in the world ranking. Turkey's ranking is # 61 in the railways.
According to the statement made by the General Directorate of Ukrainian Railways, Ukraine's rail transport outperformed all Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) member countries in terms of quality.
Japan, Hong Kong, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Singapore, South Korea, Spain and Finland followed Switzerland, which was at the top of the ranking.
Kazakhstan was ranked 34th among the CIS members in the railway ranking, while Belarus and Turkmenistan were not given any place in the rating.
