Trains in the Second Metro of the Anatolian Side to Work Without a Machinist

The foundation of Üsküdar-Ümraniye-Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe metro, which will be the second metro of the Anatolian side, was laid with a ceremony yesterday. The line will be integrated to the Kartal subway with the connection between Bostancı and Dudullu and to Marmaray in Üsküdar. When the metro is completed, it will be possible to go from Çekmeköy-Sancaktepe to Üsküdar 24, Kartal 59, Yenikapı 36, Taksim 44, Hacıosman 68, airport 68, and Olympic Stadium in 78 minutes. 43.1 kilometers of railway will be laid.
