The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), the Middle East training center is happening. International Railway Union (UIC) connected, the Middle East Regional Authority (REMA), the accumulation of TCDD Turkey for export to Middle East countries also chose to partner countries in railways.
Thus, TCDD will act as an education bridge between Europe and Middle East countries. The certificates given by the training center that will operate in Eskişehir will be valid in the whole Middle East in the following years. For example, it is given Turkey a mechanic certificate with the certificate in Iran, Iraq, Syria, Qatar or make makinistlik in Lebanon. State Railways pays attention to this step. Because it has been planning for years to become an international training center and considers the task assigned by RAME as an important step in this context. TCDD General Manager Süleyman Karaman says the following about what they will do in the first place: “First, we will conduct a survey among the Middle Eastern countries to determine which areas the countries need education. We will develop training programs in the light of the determination. Europe cares about our knowledge and experience. Our goal is to create and coordinate the Middle East region railway training center network. "
