TCDD will tender for 17 in July for Ankara High Speed ​​Train Station within the scope of Ankara-Istanbul YHT Project

According to the information obtained by AA correspondent, TCDD will hold the Ankara YHT Station tender to be held with the BOT model on July 17.
The Ankara High Speed ​​Railway Station, which is planned to be built on the land between Celal Bayar Boulevard and the existing railway station, will be built on an area of ​​one thousand square meters. 21 thousand a day, 50 million passengers per year on the ground floor of the station will have passenger lounges and kiosks. 15 star hotel will be doubled, and restaurants and cafes will be on the roof. Under the ground floor of the facility, platform and ticket sales office, and a downstairs 5 car park will be closed.
Following the displacement of the lines in the existing station, the new station will be constructed with 12 meters of length, 420 high speed trains, 6 conventional, 4 suburban and freight train lines, where 2 high speed train sets can approach at the same time.
Ankara High Speed ​​Train Station and the current station are planned to be used in coordination. Two station buildings will be connected underground and aboveground. According to the project, a tunnel with a walking belt will be built from the Maltepe station of Ankaray, a light rail public transportation system.
The new High Speed ​​Railway Station was designed by considering the national and international standards and by examining the structure, layout, operation and operation of high-speed railway stations in other countries.
Aiming to transform Ankara Gar and its surroundings into a center of attraction for the Capital, the project was designed to represent speed and dynamism and represent TCDD's new vision, as well as today's technology and architectural approach.
The new high-speed railway station is planned to be the center of social and cultural life by providing services not only for transportation purposes but also for Ankara residents and passengers, as well as shops, business offices, cinema and multi-purpose halls, fast food shops and cafes.

TCDD announced that it will first be bidding on January 20, 2011 for the high-speed train station that has the appearance of 'space base'. The tender was postponed to 22 February 2011 due to the reservations of the firms that bought the specifications that the subway planned to pass under the facility may cause trouble. On this date, Limak Construction and the GMR Infrastructure Joint Initiative and the İÇTAŞ and Cengiz Construction Joint Venture submitted bids to the tender postponed to 2 March 2011 due to the demands of the companies. The tender for the project, which will be built with a total investment of 100-150 million dollars with the build-operate-transfer (BOT) model, was later canceled.
