Metro Coming to Istanbul Ataşehir

The Minister of Environment, Erdoğan Bayraktar, who completed the project of the Istanbul Financial Center, introduced the works to Prime Minister Erdoğan and ministers.
When the center is completed, it will employ 30 thousand people. The project of the Istanbul Finance Center (İFM), which has been studied for a long time, has been completed. The project, which aims to make Istanbul one of the most important financial centers, will be built on an area of ​​2,5 million square meters. The project, which is the result of the joint work of domestic and foreign project companies, will include 560 thousand square meters of offices, 90 thousand square meters of shopping areas, 70 thousand square meters of hotels, 60 thousand square meters of residences and a conference center for 2 thousand people. When the project is completed, 30 thousand people will have employment opportunities.
Covering a larger area than financial centers in New York, London and Dubai, İFM will be built on the Anatolian side at the intersection of Ataşehir and Ümraniaye district borders. The center will be integrated into the city with two metro lines. There will be a 24-vehicle underground parking garage underground, and it will be ensured to go by bicycle and on foot between buildings. BBDK, Halkbank, Vakıfbank, BBDK, SPK will also be moved to the financial center.
In the actions to be carried out under the coordination of the infrastructure committee of the Istanbul Financial Center, there is an acceleration of rail system project investments. In this context, the rail system projects considered for Ataşehir are as follows:
* Rail system connection between Ataşehir-Sabiha Gökçen Airport,
* Rail system connection connecting Ataşehir to D-100 and TEM corridors,
