In the second week of the new year, the tube tunnels took place after the rail assembly. Rail installation starting from Ayrılıkçeşme extends to tube tunnels. The process of connecting the two ends of the Istanbul Strait to the rails will end in late summer. Marmaray is the world's deepest immersed tube tunnels. The first line to be opened will be between Ayrılıkçeşme and Kazlıçeşme. A total of 27 kilometers will be laid between 54 and Ayrılıkçeşme-Kazlıçeşme. Daily 120-150 m rail assembly is completed and the installation of 3-4 km rail is completed per month.
Within the scope of the project, there will be a total of 40 stations on the Asian and European sides.
