The process of connecting the two ends of the Istanbul Strait to the rails will end in late summer. Marmaray is the world's deepest immersed tube tunnels. The first line to be opened will be between Ayrılıkçeşme and Kazlıçeşme. A total of 27 kilometers will be laid between 54 and Ayrılıkçeşme-Kazlıçeşme. Daily 120-150 m rail assembly is completed and the installation of 3-4 km rail is completed per month.
Within the scope of the project, there will be a total of 40 stations on the Asian and European sides. In one direction every 75 on the line to be carried 2 thousand passengers per hour will be departing a train per minute. When the project is completed, only the 12 minutes from Söğütlüçeşme to Yenikapı and from the Üsküdar-Sirkeci to 4 minutes, from Bostancı to Bakırköy to 37 minutes, from Gebze.
