Iran railway line connects to China via Tajikistan

Iran expressed its satisfaction with the connection of the railway line to China via Afghanistan and Tajikistan.
According to the IRIB, Iran's housing and transport minister, Ali Nikzad, in his meeting with Tajikistan transport and communications minister Nizam Hekimof, stated that it is a good development that the Iran railway line will be connected to China, and this is also the countries where the railway line will pass. He said that it would lead to the development of cooperation between the two countries, as this would lead to a decrease in transit costs.
Tajikistan transport and communications minister Nizam Hekimof also said they could transport oil, gas and mineral products through the railway line.
