ISPARTAKULE-BEYLİKDÜZÜ METROSU
Bahçeşehir -Ispartakule region, where mass housing areas are concentrated, was also included in the new metro network of Istanbul. It was decided to extend the subway line starting from the bus station to Başakşehir via Bağcılar to Ispartakule and then to Beylikdüzü through the Olympic Stadium.
Otogar-Bağcılar-Kirazlı- İkitelli-Başakşehir Metro between Kirazlı-Başakşehir part of the section is expected to be commissioned in August this year. The light metro section of the Otogar Bağcılar Meydan-Kirazlı is planned to be commissioned in the second half of 2013.
Beylikdüzü and Ispartakule-Beylikdüzü metro lines from Bakırköy will be combined with the Kanal Istanbul project in the following years.
